Your child's first visit is often the most important.

We are excited to meet you and your child. We will provide an environment that your child can count on for a fun and effective dental visit, and a place you can receive helpful information about your child's oral health.

When preparing your child, it's important to remember that parental anxiety about dental treatment can transfer to your child, so stay positive! Use general terms, and tell your child that the dentist keeps your teeth healthy and happy and that we will be gentle while "counting" and "tickling" the teeth. We use many different words and phrases such as "brush" instead of drill, or "wiggle" a tooth instead of yank or pull. And we donʼt talk about needles or shots. We prefer to call it "sleepy juice". Most children tolerate dental shots well and usually donʼt even know they received an injection, especially when they are calm and relaxed.

Insurance & Finances

We accept most dental insurances including Healthy Montana Kids. Our staff will happily answer any insurance or financial questions you may have.

Please inform us of any insurance changes such as policy name, insurance company address, or a change of employment.

Payment for dental services is due at the time that treatment is provided. Every effort will be made to provide a treatment plan that gives your child the best possible care, and fits into your timetable and budget. We accept cash, personal checks, debit cards and most major credit cards.

Our office attempts to schedule appointments at your convenience. In terms of school dental appointments are an excused absence, and missing school can be minimal when regular dental care is scheduled.

Please call 406.587.KIDS to notify our office at least 24 hours in advance of your scheduled appointment time if you must cancel. Another patient could be scheduled if we have sufficient time to notify them. We realize that unexpected things happen, but we ask for your assistance in this regard.

Do I stay with my child during the visit?
